2025 Audi Q5 Overview, Specs, Price

2025 Audi Q5

If you love Audi’s sleek style but prefer to sit a little higher off the ground, you’re in luck. Not only has Audi refreshed the A5 and given us the much-anticipated A6 E-Tron, but they’re also rolling out the third-generation Q5 SUV. It’s perfect for those who want that signature Audi look in a practical, family-friendly ride. While the even-numbered Q6 goes electric, the Q5 sticks with gas, bringing a lot of fun features to keep both you and your passengers entertained.

In the U.S., Audi will be launching two versions of the Q5. The base model sports a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, pumping out 268 horsepower – more than enough to keep your drives lively. But if you crave a bit more oomph, there’s the SQ5 with a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6, delivering a hearty 362 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque. Both versions will easily give you that rush when the light turns green. The SQ5 is estimated to get around 27.4 to 29.4 miles per gallon according to European tests (though we’re still waiting on the official U.S. numbers). Both models are paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch S Tronic gearbox and come with Audi’s renowned Quattro all-wheel drive system.

Step inside, and you’ll notice the interior has sharp lines and aggressive angles. Everything feels built to last, too. It’s the kind of car where, even after a decade, you’ll still feel like you’re sitting in something special.

Of course, it’s an SUV, so practicality is key. I’ve sat inside, and unless your whole family’s pushing seven feet tall or constantly hauling lumber, you’ll have no problem with space. There’s plenty of legroom in both the front and back seats, and with 52.0 cubic feet of trunk space (when the seats are folded down), you can pack in a ton before you’ll ever think, “Maybe I need a truck.”

Pricing starts at €52,300 in Europe, which translates to around $58,000. The SQ5 will set you back about €82,900, or roughly $92,000. As for the U.S. versions, we’re still waiting on the full details for things like trim levels and official pricing. But with the 2025 launch coming up soon, we won’t be in the dark for long.
